Darren Black - Partner

Focus: Healthcare IT and Healthcare Services

Summary:
Darren Black joined SVLS in 2003, became a Partner in 2008 and is focused on healthcare service, pharmaceutical service and healthcare technology investments. Darren currently serves on the boards of Ricerca, Vitalize Consulting Solutions, CRI Worldwide, CR, Sequence Pharma Services, ISG Holdings and Spectrum Professional Services in addition to several active board observer roles (including Broadlane).

Prior Experience:
Before joining SVLS, Darren was Co-Founder and President of two companies: ClinCare, a site management organization and PharmaStar (sold to United BioSource Corporation), a central nervous system education services company. Earlier he was a healthcare consultant for Accenture, assisting managed care and provider-based clients on strategy formulation and implementation.

Qualifications:
Darren earned an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an AB in Government from Harvard College.
