Derek Lee joined SVLS in 2000 and is focused on both Medical Device and Biotechnology Investments. He is or has been actively involved as a board observer at Achillion Pharmaceuticals, Aderis Pharmaceuticals, Alinea, AllianceCare, Auxilium Pharmaceuticals, Insulet, Itero, Micromed Technology and Quick Study Radiology.

Prior Experience:
Before joining SVLS, Derek was an Associate with the Global Healthcare Group at UBS Warburg where he engaged in a variety of equity and M&A transactions in the life sciences sector. Prior to joining UBS Warburg, Derek was involved with Healthcare Investment Banking at Salomon Smith Barney.

Qualifications:
Derek has a BS in Finance from Bentley College.
