Dr. Jeffery Vender joined SVLS as a Venture Partner in 2001.

Prior Experience:
Jeffery is a practicing anesthesiologist/critical care physician and a Professor of Anesthesia at a major Chicago University and Director, Critical Care Services at a leading hospital. He has over 20 years experience in the medical world, is currently on the board of directors of Metasensors Inc., and serves on the board of Medical Advisers for the American Association of Respiratory Care. Jeffery serves as a Consultant to several other private and public healthcare companies and has been on numerous medical advisory boards. Jeffery has also consulted for many years in the venture capital and investment banking industries.

Qualifications:
Jeffery graduated from Northwestern University in 1971 with a BS in Biology. He received his MD degree in 1975 and his MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management, in 1998.
