SV Life Sciences Fund II

SVLSF II closed in 1999 with total commitments of $280 million (plus $30 million of co-investments committed by partners and individuals affiliated with SVLS).

As at 31 March 2010, the fund had invested $328 million (including re-investment) in 36 portfolio companies.

AllianceCare is based in Boynton Beach, FL, a senior healthcare provider of nursing and physician housecall services, rehabilitation therapy and home health services through 20 branch offices and over 150 senior communities located in Florida, Texas and Ohio. The “At Home” merger also added private duty home care services in MA, IL, DC, MD, GA, and PA.



Cadent Technologies: US Cadent Technologies: US

First investment: 2000 - Early Stage

Cadent is based in Carlstadt, NJ and has developed proprietary computer aided design (CAD/CAM) applications for the orthodontist and dental markets, which are deployed via a web-based service model on a pay per use basis.



EasyChem: US - Exited

EasyChem was a B2B chemical e-commerce electronic marketplace.



eMed Technologies: US eMed Technologies: US - Exited

First investment: 2000 - Expansion

eMed Delivered medical images over the internet.



Expand Sante: France - Exited

Expand Sante was a French pharmaceutical contract sales organisation.

IHG was a preferred provider organization. (Formerly known as Interplan).

Mdeverywhere based in Hauppauge, NY with operations in New Dehli, India, is an outsourced physician billing company.

Physicians Dialysis was a consolidator of renal dialysis centers (Purchased by DaVita).

QSR based in St. Louis, MO, sells comprehensive digital imaging services to community hospitals and imaging centers. The company integrates, manages and supports clinical and data systems for customers with a focus on underserved small and secondary city locations.
