AllianceCare is based in Boynton Beach, FL, a senior healthcare provider of nursing and physician housecall services, rehabilitation therapy and home health services through 20 branch offices and over 150 senior communities located in Florida, Texas and Ohio. The “At Home” merger also added private duty home care services in MA, IL, DC, MD, GA, and PA.



Cadent Technologies: US Cadent Technologies: US

First investment: 2000 - Early Stage

Cadent is based in Carlstadt, NJ and has developed proprietary computer aided design (CAD/CAM) applications for the orthodontist and dental markets, which are deployed via a web-based service model on a pay per use basis.



EasyChem: US - Exited

EasyChem was a B2B chemical e-commerce electronic marketplace.



eMed Technologies: US eMed Technologies: US - Exited

eMed Delivered medical images over the internet.

Allegiance Hospice is based in Lowell, MA, focused on providing hospice services to patients primarily in long- term care facilities within the New England market.



Medifacts International: US Medifacts International: US

First investment: 2004 - Expansion

Medifacts International based in Rockville, MD, provides ECG core lab services related to cardiac safety testing for global clinical trials.



Patient Care: US Patient Care: US - Exited

First investment: 2002 - Buyout

Patient Care based in Orange, NJ, is one of the largest independent home health agencies.



Socios Mayores en Salud: US Socios Mayores en Salud: US

First investment: 2006 - Expansion

Socios based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is a Medicare HMO.



Synarc: US Synarc: US - Exited

First investment: 2004 - Late Stage

Synarc provides centralized medical imaging services and international subject-recruitment facilities dedicated exclusively to global clinical trials.



US Renal Care: US US Renal Care: US

First investment: 2005 - Expansion

US Renal Care(USRC) based in Dallas, TX, provides dialysis services to patients with end stage renal disease (ESRD) through the ownership and management of freestanding dialysis clinics. The company partners with local nephrologists in secondary markets underserved by dialysis consolidators.



Accelecare Wound Centers: US Accelecare Wound Centers: US

First Investment: 2007 - Buyout

Accelecare provides full service management, operation and medical team staffing of wound healing and hyperbaric medicine centers at hospitals throughout the South Central and Central portion of the US.



Altura Medical: US Altura Medical: US

First investment: 2008 - Seed

Altura is a seed stage company within Intersect Partners developing a low profile stent graft for the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA).

Formerly known as Altura Interventional.



CR: US CR: US

First Investment: 2008 - Buyout

CR is a holding company whose management team intends to develop a global CRO providing outsourced clinical monitoring, data management and other related services for biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies conducting Phase II-IV clinical trials. The first of CR’s transactions included Trio Clinical Research (www.trioclinicalresearch.com), an innovative clinical research services company.



CRI Worldwide: US CRI Worldwide: US

First Investment: 2007 - Buyout

CRI Worldwide, founded in 2000, is a CNS focused network of clinical research facilities conducting phase I-III trials (mostly inpatient studies). CRI operates research units in partnership with local area hospitals providing “flexible” bed arrangements and yet they are able to use a central IRB.

First investment: 2008 - Seed

ISG Holdings is a business offering workers compensation scheme outsourcing by businesses with US operations.



Spectrum Professional Services: US

First investment: 2007 - Buyout

Spectrum Professional Services is building a suite of services to provide to nursing homes and other long term care facilities on an outsourced basis. The initial platform acquisition is focused on the contract rehabilitation therapy area.

First Investment: 2007 - Buyout

Vitalize Consulting Solutions, Inc. provides the highest quality clinical and business solutions to healthcare organizations across the United States and Canada. Their main focus is in the areas of application implementation and enhancement, process optimization, interfaces, project management, technology and integration, training and knowledge transfer.
